I originally wrote this track in 2009. It was the first piece of music I wrote after my dad passed away, so naturally it became an homage to him. It took me a few years to actually get it recorded, which I put a live version on youtube.
Fast forward a good few years, after going through another loss, I found myself adding a new section, which now forms the introduction and serves as a symbolic reunion of loss.
It's a raw recording There are mistakes, some I covered, some I didn't, but in the interests of my pursuit of acceptance, I have left it as is, flaws and all.
